As part of the course History of Communication Design at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, students were to design a travel poster demonstrating the artistic style from an era they studied in class. I chose the Art Deco era and based my poster on that style. Inspired by the boom of new technology in the 1920’s, about the time Art Deco was most prominent, I wanted to explore potential new technologies. In this far out poster, I persuade viewers to hop on a new super sonic aircraft and take flight towards Mars! Your interplanetary vacation awaits you!
